Here's a little sneak peek of a fun project that I've been working on. I am finishing up a new quilt pattern featuring Betz White's Stitch fabrics, but I wanted a side project with a little change of pace to work on as well. I made Olivia a cloth doll last year for her third birthday and I've been wanting to make her a new one based on a design that I've been playing with for a while. Here's what I came up with.
She's jointed with buttons so her little arms and legs move.
And her hair is made out of wool yarn in two long braids. When Olivia first saw her, she said,"you made a doll like me, Momma!" I'm so excited with how she is turning out and I can't wait to show you more!

She is soooo cute. What a sweet little thing for a little girl to go to sleep with and cuddle. my daughters had homemade dolls my mom made and they loved them.
