a little Lark inspiration

I'm working on a project with some of Amy Butler's new line of gorgeous fabric called Lark. Have you seen it yet? It's stunning. Seriously. The are so many beautiful designs and the color is just fantastic...lots of blues, with pops of yellows, pinks, greens, corals, and more. Here's a little shot, via instagram, of my work in progress.

And yesterday Amy posted this inspiration video of Lark on her Facebook page. Take a look at it for more stunning visuals!

I purchased my fat quarter bundle and additional yardage of Lark from my friend Sarah's shop, Swell Cloth. You can find the bundle here!

I Love Lark! I did up my Christmas tree skirt in some of it. I only wish the organic line of it had more upbeat colors. I'm trying to switch over to using only organics and it is definitely difficult, especially since I love ALL the fabric designs out there....if manufacturers carried identical organic lines I would pay an extra $2 per yard for the organic over the non-organic. Ok, sorry! Organic tangent done. ;)

My youngest stepdaughter is having a casual country wedding on Memorial Day weekend. I'm toying with making my skirt from some yardage in that line... I think it will be stunning!

I love every fabric Amy Butler ever designed, I think.
