I'm sure you've heard all the buzz about Denyse Schmidt's latest fabric line, Picnic and Fairgrounds, which was produced by DS Quilts for Fabric Traditions and is available at Jo-Ann stores. I love it, and was lucky enough to find all 21 prints at a few local stores in my area. I first saw it last week, and bought my four favorite prints, the dots and the tiles, but then of course kicked myself when I got home for not getting more. When I went back a couple of days later, the store was almost sold out. When I went back last night, my local shop was completely out of it. So, I ran to another store and found a few more prints last night. This morning, Olivia and I drove to a store in Dayton and they still had every print! Woohoo!!!

It's really beautiful and a nice quality too. Much better than the standard fabric sold there, in my opinion. However, it's not cheap--it's priced at $10 a yard and it's not on sale this week. But, thank goodness for coupons!
And because I think my readers are the best, I've got a little giveaway for you! How about a half yard of my four favorite prints?
One lucky reader will receive a half yard of the red dots, blue dots, red tiles, and blue tiles. Please excuse my scuffed cutting mat--it gets a lot of use!
Please leave a comment below (and I'd love if you became a follower too) and I'll use the random number generator to choose a winner. The giveaway ends April 29, 2011 at midnight EST. Good luck!
