my segment on Cincinnati's Fox 19

Eeek! I'm just now getting the chance to tell you about my experience on the live, local news on Tuesday morning. I was really nervous, but I feel like I did ok. I still haven't watched this yet, and I honestly don't know when I will, but my husband assured me that I did a good job and that I didn't mess up. For now, I'll take his word. ;)

I took a bunch of things with me and set them all up on the table in the studio. Lots of patterns, some books, cutting tools, fabric, batting, my machine and a few of my quilts. It was a really fun experience, and I'm so glad that I got the chance to share with the viewers my love of quilting, and the fact that it is a craft that anyone can do. It was also great to tell the city about the Cincinnati Modern Quilt Guild and it will be interesting to see if we have any new guests as a result of my interview at our next meeting! I'll keep you posted.

Thank you to all of you who left kind words, good wishes, and much luck for me when I asked for it the other day. I really appreciate it!

Wow! How awesome is that?!?!?! You did a great job, and I love the fact that quilting is becoming so popular. P.S. Is that a Janome HD1000? I have one coming in the mail today! Do you like yours? How does it handle free motion quilting? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just so excited about it.
