Happy Mail, ala Kaffe

Look what arrived in my mailbox this morning! You know how much I love some good happy mail, right? I ordered four fat quarters of some Kaffe Fassett prints from etsy because (I'm ashamed to say) I didn't have any in my stash. I'm making a few blocks for Sarah Fielke's quilts for Amy and her daughter, so I needed to pick some up. I found a seller who offered a mix and match fat quarter bundle and the four I choose are Gothic in Brown, Sprays in Taupe, Stencil in Brown, and Embroidered Shaw in Turquoise.

My favorite is this print, Sprays in Taupe. I think those little flowers are so sweet! I bought my bundle from Fabric ala Carte on etsy, who has a large selection of Kaffe prints. My order arrived very quickly too, which is always a plus! Hopefully I'll get these blocks done this weekend since I know it will take a while for them to arrive to Sarah in Australia.

Such lovely fabrics! Lucky you! I'll have to wait until those designer fabrics filter down the food chain into my local flea market--I'm afraid it will be a bit of a long wait. I've enjoyed your blog!
