Have I told you how proud I am of my students? Just take a look at the work they're doing! Our last Into to Modern Quilting class was spent cutting fabric strips and constructing blocks.
And laying out blocks on the floor to make sure no blocks had two of the same strips in them.
And cutting more strips.
And sewing strips.
And more strips.
But all the cutting and sewing is worth it in the end. Look how beautiful this block turned out!
I can't wait to see how far they've gotten on their blocks tonight in class. They are going to be fantastic!

How fun! I'd love to take another quilting class. I'll have to check out what's in our area.
So tonight when I got home I showed Hendrix the one row I got done and said it was going to be a blanket for him. He immediately laid down on the living room floor and said with excitement, "Hendrix go nite-nite! blanket! put it on it!" I think he likes it :)
