I finally finished the next pair of quilt blocks for my quilt along with Oh, Fransson!. You'll see I'm a week behind, but I think I can get caught up this week. I'm using only fabrics from my scrap bins, so it's a bit of a challenge, but I think the resulting quilt is going to be really fun. Plus, it will help me declutter my studio a bit!

{ week 2 quilt blocks }

{ appliqued birdy bib }
I'm a huge fan of applique, and people really like my bibs, so I'm not sure why it took me so long to put something like this together. This is a design I came up with a couple of months ago as a custom order for one of my repeat customers, who was looking for a gift for a friend's new baby. I think the combination of fabrics is really sweet, and I love my little bird. I think it would be really cute on a t-shirt as well, or maybe even appliqued on a peasant dress.
This bib is available for purchase in my etsy shop.
Now, I need to come up with something for the little guys. We definitely can't leave them out!
