{ Happy Thanksgiving week }

Wow, I cannot believe that this is Thanksgiving week, for those of us in America. Where has time gone? This year has seriously flown by, at least for me. I just realized that I hadn't shown you my Thanksgiving shirt designs yet, so here they are! This is the second year that I've offered them in my shop for sale, and they were a big hit.

This is the girl version, with lots of pink feathers!

And the boy version, with more green and blue feathers.

I used narrow wale corduroy for the body of both designs, in a butterscotch color, which I think works well as a neutral with all of the different prints I used for the feathers. The eyes are a mottled black fabric and the beak is a solid orange cotton. I think they're pretty fun!

And speaking of fun, guess what I'm doing this week? Cooking Thanksgiving dinner on my own, for the first time. I'm sure Aidan and Olivia will help, as will Jeff and my mom, but it's the first time we're having a full Thanksgiving dinner at our house since the kids have been born. It's so hard to run around during the holidays, and Jeff and I thought it was time to start making some traditions of our own since our little family has grown. I'm planning on making turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, Parker House rolls, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, apple pie,and pecan pie. All from scratch. Yummy! I'll keep you posted on the progress and how everything turns out.

What are your plans for the holiday? I'd love to hear so please leave me a comment. Whatever they are, I hope you and your family have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Good Luck with all of your meal prep - I am sure that you will do a wonderful job.
My Thanksgiving will be spent with my 96 yr old Grandpa and just my brother & parents. Small, simple but very nice.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!
