And I love Sew4Home, too! The creative geniuses behind www.sew4home.com recently asked to feature me on their site. What an honor! Liz and Anne are great, and I actually had the opportunity to spend some time with them in person at The Creative Connection Event last month in Minneapolis. We even took some sewing classes together!
Liz asked me some really great questions and it was so fun to share my story with them, and you! You can read the article here. While you're there, check out some of the fabulous tutorials on their site. They have a lot of great projects!

As you probably know, I'm crafty, but I'm so not computer savvy. Therefore, it takes me a little longer than it should to update/tweak/adjust all of pages, from my etsy shop, Facebook fan page, twitter page, and my website. But, the good thing about having a head cold is it forces you to stay in bed, ergo, much time can be devoted to such things with the help of the laptop.
Some exciting things: my Facebook page is now www.facebook.com/OliveAndOllie, and not some crazy long line of numbers like it has been for about a year. See, I told you it takes me a while to do these things. :) Go check it out and become a fan to see what's going on behind the scenes if you'd like.
I'm in the process of moving all of my ready to ship items to my personal website, as opposed to my etsy shop. So, if you're looking for something quick, that's your best bet. The great thing about my site is that I can set up coupon codes that the buyer can enter at checkout for an instant discount.
So, would you like a discount code to try out? Just enter "LoveOandO" at checkout for 10% off of your total purchase price. Have fun!

I was just editing some photos for a custom order for a great client of mine, when I thought this might be a fun blog post. I love color, and color combinations, and unique pairings of color and patterns, so I thought I'd share some some things that I put together as choices for her. In this case, these are possible combinations for my twirl skirt pattern for one of her little girls.
I also have a lot of solid colored cotton fabrics in stock. These are all Bella Quilting Solids by Moda. I love the drape and hand of these fabrics, and they are such gorgeous colors.
