Don't you just love it when you have a good mail day? You know, no bills, just fun little packages filled with goodies? I had one of those last week, and take a look at what was inside my fun little package.
A little bit of this. Ok, maybe a lot of this.
By this, of course, I'm referring to Far Far Away 2 by Heather Ross. I've jumped on the Heather Ross bandwagon, although I'm a little late in the game. I really love her designs, though. They are so whimsical and her I really like the sketch-like quality about them, too. One of my favorites from this collection is the Owl and Pussycat in Plum.
How sweet is that? I have plans for a few quilts with these, although I'm not sure what pattern I'll use. I almost hate to even cut into them, they are so beautiful!
Also in my little box of goodies was some of Laurie Wisbrun's brand new fabric from her Urban Circus line for Robert Kaufman. I love the giraffes and elephants! I think these will make great quilts for Aidan and Olivia, don't you?
I hope you have a good mail day soon, too!

I promise! I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted. I'm so sorry! It has been a crazy summer, in the best possible ways, and so far it looks like the fall is shaping up to be the same. I've got some big things in the works and can't wait to share them with you. For now though, here are a few things I've been working on. There are more designs coming for boys and girls, as well as some the upcoming addition to some modern quilts to my shop. I'm really excited about everything that is on the horizon and can't wait to tell you more!
