{ yummy vintage goodness }

This week my mom and I took Aidan and Olivia to our local thrift store. I hadn't been thrifting in way too long, and we lucked out and found some amazingly yummy vintage goodness.

We spied this awesome Fisher Price farm set. It's from 1967 and is in great shape. It came with eight { wooden } little people, a horse, a pig, a sheep, a tractor, fence pieces, a ladder, and a trough. And the barn { moos } every time the door opens. It's so great, and of course my two little farm-loving kids were in heaven. { And Aidan has actually slept with the entire set every night. }

I also scored some amazing vintage linens, including these three beauties which will become a quilt { one of these days }.

And check out this vintage Mickey Mouse Clubhouse sheet set. I have no idea how old it is, but it is so cool. It has all of the Disney favorites and is in great shape. I was thinking of using it for a quilt, but I think I'll just keep them intact and use them for Aidan and Olivia's big kid beds.

We also found some yummy vintage Pyrex, including this sweet floral casserole dish and carafe.

And these cute little guys, which will soon sport a lovely shade of aqua { or red? } enamel. Love them!

Have you found any great vintage finds lately?

I do too! I know, it's so hard to find the time to go. I hadn't been in probably two or three years. I think I went once since Aidan was born, but not since I had Olivia, and she turned two in February!

I absolutely love the fisher price set, my kids had the old boot, house, with little people and I must find one of them. Have to do the trip to those cute little vintage shops...I go but generally just buy the jeans to make dog jackets, must get more adventurous. lol. Hey the fabrics are great!! Margo

So awesome, and very coincidental that I had the farmhouse when I was a kid, and, those same exact Mickey Sheets! Weird. I loved both so much.

Margo, that's great! I think these vintage FP sets are the best. My kids play with the castle that was mine when I was little and they love it!

Minnie, that's too funny! Maybe these were yours??? :)
